Parent sessions
For a parent or guardian on their own, who wants a plan for the hard moments.
Parent sessions run alongside your child's play sessions, or on their own. Nasreen listens first: what the mornings, meals and bedtimes are like, and what has worked. Then you plan something small to try this week, and you come back and say how it went.

The details
The method
Parent coaching built around your child's own play and routines, with a plan you choose.
What this is not
It is not a parenting class, a report card on your parenting or a list of rules for you to follow.
How long and how often
Fifty minutes. Some parents come every other week, others once a month. Nasreen sets the rhythm with you.
How it is paid
Your fee is given in writing before you start. We bill some commercial plans, or you pay yourself and get a monthly receipt.
How fees work
Three questions about this
What happens in the first session?
The first visit is for the parent or guardian, without your child. We hear about your child's days, what overwhelms them and what helps, and we explain how play sessions work. Your child's first play session comes after, and it starts with a look around the room.
What is confidential, and what are the limits?
What your child says and plays in the room stays between your child and the clinician. Parents hear what they need to help at home, in general terms. We must share information if a child may be in danger, if a court requires it, or if you sign a release for a school or doctor.
Are you licensed where I live?
Both clinicians are licensed in Delaware, and sessions happen at the office on Delaware Avenue. Parent sessions can be held by video for parents who are in Delaware at the time. Each clinician's license and the board that issued it are listed on the site.
Talk with Nasreen before you decide
A first call is a chance to ask how parent sessions would fit around your child's play sessions.
